The Run Governance Audit target type allows users to schedule automated governance and compliance audits across cloud environments. When configured, the system periodically evaluates selected regions and accounts against defined governance policies and compliance standards, ensuring continuous visibility, risk identification, and adherence to organizational controls without manual intervention.

Steps to Configure:

1. Enter Job Name:

Enter a unique Job Name to identify the scheduled task.

2. Select Trigger Type:

Choose CRON to define a time-based execution schedule, or select Rule to use a predefined rule created under CSPM > Alert Rules.

3.  Configure Schedule or Rule

If CRON is selected, specify the Cron Schedule using the supported cron format to define when the job should run. If Rule is selected, specify the Rule ID to associate the scheduler job with the selected alert rule.

4. Select Target , Region, Account , Compliance/Custom tag:

Select Run Governance Audit as the target to enable automated governance and compliance analysis. Specify the regions and accounts to be audited, and apply filters such as Compliance Tags or Custom Tags as needed.

  • Agentic Execution
  • Select an agent from the dropdown list (agent status is displayed as online or offline).
