Steps to Create a New Job for GitOps Workflow

The Run GitOps Workflow target type allows users to schedule the automatic execution of a selected GitOps workflow. When configured, the system triggers the chosen workflow at the specified cron schedule, enabling consistent, repeatable automation for deployment, synchronization, or operational tasks.


Steps to Configure:

  1. Enter a unique Job Name to identify the scheduled task.
  2. Select CRON as the Trigger Type to define the execution schedule. Or Select Rule to use a predefined rule created in the CSPM > Alert Rules section.
  3. Specify the Cron Schedule using the supported cron format to set when the job should run or If Rule is selected, specify the Rule ID to associate the job.
  4. Select Run GitOps Workflow as the Target to enable automated GitOps workflow.
  5. From Select Workflow, choose the GitOps workflow to be executed.
  6. Click Add Job to save and activate the scheduler or click Close to cancel.
